Vehicles already arrive at Omoda Jaecoo dealers in Australia, but so far they have all been with Jaecoo-Baded vehicles. However, models who wear the Omoda type will come shortly.
The first one will be Omoda C9Due to five seats for the brand in August as a flagship.
Omoda Jaecoo is viewed as a single brand of parent company Chery Chery and is called “next level” with a mixture of more rakish (Omoda) and traditionally more designed (Jaecoo) models.
So far, the Jaecoo arm of this brand has been equipped with the J8 SUV with five seats this month, with the Jaecoo J5 Small SUV later booking the J7 SUV for sale in J7 this year.
The Omoda C9 is later followed by the smaller Omoda 7. Timing for this model still has to be announced.

The pricing and specifications for the Omoda C9 will be announced in more detail at the start. However, after the first time had been approved in Australia over 12 months ago, new government approval documents were published for the C9.
This time the turboch-2,0-liter four-cylinder petrol engine was connected to documents by a PHEV drive train (plug-in hybrid).
The all-wheel drive is a turbocher with a 1.5-liter four-cylinder petrol engine with a three-speed hybrid transmission with two of the electric motors within the gear unit. A third electric motor is at the back.
The petrol engine generates 105 kW, the front electric motors produce 75 kW and 90 kW and the rear electric motor produces 120 kW.
While the entire system output and the battery capacity are not listed, Omoda C9 is offered with 19.43 kWh or 34.46 kWh batteries and offers a range of only up to 150 km in the WLTP cycle.
There is also another PHEV drive train with dual electric motors in markets such as Great Britain.
With the Tri-Electric Motor Setup, the Chinese brand claims total system expenses of 440 kW of electricity and 915 Nm torque and a time of 0 to 100 km/h of 4.9 seconds.
As already mentioned, 2.0-liter turbo-petrol variant entertainment also appear on site or all-wheel drive also in the Australian admission documents.
These contain an eight-speed automatic transmission and an output of 183 kW (torque numbers are not listed in these documents). The South African market model, which produces 192 kW and 400 Nm, differs unusually.
If we look at other export markets again, the Omoda C9 with two 12.3-inch screens, a wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a panoramic view and a potential, heated and ventilated front seats are offered.
There are also functions for the flagship Jaecoo J8, such as B. speakers that are installed in the driver’s head restriction and an in-car fragrance system.
The Omoda C9 measures 4775 mm long, 1920 mm wide and 1671 mm in size on a 2800 mm wheelbase, which makes it one of the largest medium-sized SUVs on the market.
It is 35 mm longer, 30 mm wider and 4 mm larger than a Mazda CX-60 that also offers a PHEV drive train, even though it is on a 70 mm shorter wheelbase.
The start dream is a stressed 660 liters.
Omoda C9 is the export name for exeed Yaoguang, which is also known as exeed RX in some markets. It first entered production in 2022.
While Chery Australia has not announced local starting plans for the exeed brand, it has confirmed that the door is open to other brands to join Chery and Omoda Jaecoo, if not at short notice.
There is a model that is not sold under the Omoda Jaecoo brand in Australia, and the first vehicle is confusing to bear the Omoda name in our market: The Chery Omoda 5.
Instead, it was re -audited as Chery C5, whereby its electric counterpart was renamed Chery E5.
