The 2025 Porsche Macan Turbo Electric offers an expensive performance

The arrival of the first full electrical Porsche Macan should be easy. From the old gas car, although the German car manufacturer announced plans to produce the couple at the same time and with the new EV. Get in in 2025, and the conversation about the Porsche Macan has changed significantly. At the moment there are numerous “what if” that surround the Porsche Macan and the SUV line -up of the brand as a whole. In view of the fact that the EV will soon be the only variant for sale, how well does the turbo separation work in the turbo stretch?

Like most other Volkswagen Group products, it drives on a common platform. In this case, it is the Performance Premium Electric (PPE) scorchitecture, which also underpins the Audi Q6 e -tron. It uses an 800-volt-electric system and a battery with a gross capacity of 100 kilowatt hours, which leads to a net capacity of 95 kWh. As the Porsche Macan Electric setup shows, this setup individual motor variants with rear-wheel drive or, like the turbo, can be used to include a dual motor configuration with a power supply drive that is sent to all four bikes.

The first thing she hits over the Porsche Macan Turbo is its speed on the street. And as in the refreshing Cayenne series, this crossover benefits from two Valve dams that make it possible to adapt the compression and the backplate independently and, in the case of the turbo, an adaptive aerial cladding lock system.

This setup, although there is no active anti-roll system, effortlessly treats the mass of the macan without providing a driving experience that is excessively stiff. They definitely still feel the weight, but they also have the feeling that everyone works together on board systems to help them move as soon as possible. This is a by -product of the separate investment of Porsche in the PPE platform with targeted upgrades to the rear end and its suspension. As you will find out later, it is sometimes the reason why the Macan sits at a higher price than its Audi siblings.

The electrical power steering receives a special Porsche tuning that is constantly best in the entire Volkswagen group. While it has a quick ratio, it is not twitching or excessively reaction. This strength and performance are cost. While the Macan 4 dual engine offers an EPA estimated range of 308 miles, the turbo reaches a lower 288-mile number. In typical Porsche fashion, the fully electric Macan turbo is practically flawless from a perspective. It can quickly be in a straight line and a willing dance partner in the bends without affecting daily comfort and user -friendliness. However, it manages to combine this performance with a feeling of tactility and driver construction, which is usually missing in high electric vehicles.

From $ 107,295, the turbo is quite expensive, especially if you take into account the premium for the entire electric Macan range compared to its gas-powered predecessor. Nevertheless, this model with range toping is not immediately recognizable as something special. While the Macan itself is a nicely looking vehicle, you want more differentiation if you lay down six figures.

Although the price is certainly increased, the driving experience is a few electrical crossovers.
