Why these four Legacy Stellantis brands are at stake in 2025

Summary

  • The sales of Stellantis compared to the previous year fell by 15%in 2024, which led to fire consolidation discussions.
  • Chrysler fights with a limited line -up and delays in new models.
  • Dodge’s turnover increased by 76% with uncertain electrification plans compared to the top value of 2013.
  • Maserati’s turnover fell 57% in the most important model exchange in 2024.
  • Alfa Romeo has given up his all-EP plan, but looks with ongoing sales declines.

When the multinational automotive company Stellantis was founded in 2021 by the fusion of Fiat Chrysler and Peugeot owner PSA Group, this led to a constellation of 14 iconic automobile brands. Fast preliminary run to this day is the fate of four of these brands after a disappointing sales year in 2024 for the conglomerate in the suspension, 15 percent compared to 2023.

The obsession of Stellantis with so -called “efficiency” and some questionable business decisions from his former CEO Carlos Tavares has ruined several of his brands, including Jeep. However, it is unlikely that the planned changes to the group will influence the Jeep or even the RAM in the near future, but the future of the Legacy brands Chrysler, Dodge, Alfa Romeo and Maserati is uncertain.
