I was a long-standing BMW fan in full disclosure because I have had a BMW for many years. In the latest generation of BMW Motorsport vehicles, there are a lot to discuss in the area of enthusiasts and die -hard fans on this topic if BMW has kept a large part of the beloved topic for driving machines. The 2025 BMW M3 in my week was a pleasure to take part in some of this passion and love of the old school for the ultimate driving machine. My test vehicle is a manual transmission, the M3 in one of my favorite colors of all time, Laguna Seca Blue, for which the new model year has returned.
The BMW M3, which, as you know, has spent a four-door vehicle and basically a thrill machine in my opinion with such a vehicle with 473 hp and a torque of 406 LB-FT from its 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline-6 cylinder engine. This performance is sent to the rear wheels by a 6-speed manual transmission and by a limited differential.
Here, too, a manual transmission increases the M3 in a way that appeases additional senses for enthusiasts who like to row their own gears. The somewhat notchy gear lever is still loyal to the feeling that you expect from a BMW, as well as the clutch engagement. There are no big surprises here. In addition, the M3 remains well planted to the ground, where it is holding and easy. In short, a bit of additional work is required to easily break the rear 285/30 20-inch tires and to do it in a concert manner that you do not call your insurance company.
Yes, the M3 remains balanced from front to back with an almost perfect weight balance. Even if BMW lies on the conservative side of specifying its performance figure, this thing feels more like 550 hp, and the M3 feels correct for its segment and rules as a continued benchmark. While the M3 switching transmission may be somewhat slower from the line than the ZF automatic transmission changed to fast automatic transmission with the ZF-8-speed transmission.
Overall, the BMW M3 has some of the best driving dynamics and handling of a vehicle in its class, partly on the staggered wheel setup with 19-inch wheels at the front and 20 inches. In my test vehicle, these wheels are an optional setup that looks remarkable for the color contrast against the exciting Laguna Sea Blue vehicle color and large back with a red 6-piston brake caliper and single-piston back. The amazing color does a lot for the BMW M3 to downplay the drink that was another painful place for many. However, I have to say that the radiator grille has grown a little – just a little – as the Laguna Seca Blue Paint and Dark cooler grill for such a radiator grille seem to work best so far.
The fuel consumption is actually predictable in the sense of what you expect from a compact luxurious limousine of limousines and the EPA estimates of 16 MPG City, 23 MPG Highway and 19 MPG frequently defeat.
The interior of the M3 is loyal to the quality of BMW, while my test vehicle with its accented blue and yellow colors, which strangely stepped together with the outer color, have taken a level. Despite the color conflict, the interior is suitable for the topic of the M3 to be a performance vehicle with supportive sports seats at the front with heating, but there is no center armrest for the rear seats. The selection of meetings is one of my favorites compared to the more aggressive option of Eimer seating sites, which seems to be more reserved for the M3 competition and M3 CS.
The 2025 BMW M3 now receives the updated iDrive 8.5-setup, which is combined with the redundancy of the controls by combining the large 14.9-inch touchscreen and the physical Idrive controller directly behind the gear lever with a slightly curved touchscreen and the physical Idrive IDRIVE controller. The wireless Apple CarPlay integration (and Android Auto) works seamlessly and without a subscription service fee. The wireless smartphone charger is laid under the center of the arm, instead of standing in front of the cup eggers as before.
BMW is good with the updated iDrive 8.5 system, although it may be complicated with the number of functional symbols, but they finally find some superfluous, which leads to the same basic controls and settings. The 12.3-inch cluster cluster remains somewhat configurable and can use the large color-head display output information from the exit from the exit.
BMW, like most others, remains all the expected active security functions, including BMWS Trick 360-degree camera system with 3D intestine angles. The only object that is noticeable in my test vehicle is the adaptive speed control and the professional setup from BMW.
From the price of 76,700 US dollars in front of fees or options, the latest BMW M3 keeps up with its class offerings that perform enthusiastic performance in order to compete with the best. My test vehicle with the most expensive option is the striking LAGUNA SECA Blue Paint at $ 4,500 in addition to an M driver package, a carbon fiber cladding, silver spoke wheels, M shadow lines and adaptive M suspension.
